தொன்மையும் நவீனமும் இணைந்து வாழும் மொழி தமிழ். இது ஒரு மொழி மட்டுமல்ல, ஓர் இனத்தின் பண்பாடு, அடையாளம், வரலாறு. அதன் தொன்மை காலத்தால் அழிக்க முடியாத செல்வமாக திகழ்கிறது. இன்றும் உலகெங்கிலும் கோடிக்கணக்கான மக்களால் பேசப்பட்டும் கற்றுணரப்படும் ஆர்வமிக்க மொழியாகவும் உள்ளது. பல்லாயிரம் ஆண்டுகள் பழமையும், பண்புணர்த்தும் இலக்கிய இலக்கண வளமும், திறம் வியக்கத்தக்க செம்மையுடனும் விளங்கும் செம்மொழியான தமிழ் உலக மொழிகளின் தாய்மொழியாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது. ஒரு மொழியின் பெருமை அதன் தொன்மையிலேயே அல்ல, தொடர்ச்சியில்தான் உள்ளது என்பர். ஆகையால், மொழி தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகச் சென்றடைய வேண்டும். இதனை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு இளைஞர்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட பைந்தமிழ் இலக்கியப் பேரவையின் ஓர் அங்கமாக பைந்தமிழ் பதிப்பகம் செயல்படுகிறது.
தேமதுரத் தமிழொலியை உலகெங்கும் பரப்புதல், தமிழ்க் கல்வியில் உயராய்வினை வளப்படுத்துதல், தமிழ், தமிழர், இலக்கியம், வரலாறு, மருத்துவம், கல்வி, கலை, சமுதாயம், பண்பாடு, அறிவியல் எனத் துறைத்தோறும் தமிழாய்வை மேம்படுத்துதல், ஒப்பீட்டு நோக்கில் தமிழ்மொழி இலக்கியங்களைப் பிறமொழி இலக்கியங்களோடு ஆராய்தல், மொழிபெயர்ப்பு சார்ந்த பணிகளை முன்னெடுத்தல், புத்தம்புதிய கலைச்சொற்களை உருவாக்குதல், தாய்த் தமிழோடும் அறிவியல் தமிழோடும் வளர்ச்சி பெற்றல், தொழில்நுட்பம் மூலம் தமிழின் பெருமையை உலகளாவிய அளவில் எடுத்துச் சேர்த்தல், அயல்நாட்டவர்களுக்கு தமிழின் பெருமையை அறிமுகப்படுத்தி தமிழாய்வு வளர்ச்சிக்கு வலுசேர்த்தல் ஆகியவை பைந்தமிழ் இலக்கியப் பேரவையின் முக்கிய நோக்கங்களாகும்.

With this goal of preserving and promoting Tamil, the “Painthamizh Illakiya Peravai” was founded and is run by youth, and one of its initiatives is the ” Painthamizh Publication.”
